About the Summer Learning Journey

The Summer Learning Journey is a free digital literacy programme for students in The Manaiakalani Network of Schools. It is designed to encourage our young people to continue their literacy learning over the summer holidays. There are six weeks of activities for students to select from with a mix of reading and writing activities to Learn, Create and Share on their edublogs. All learner posts will be read and commented on by the Summer Learning Journey Commenting Team.

    Thank you to the team from St Francis of Assisi School for creating and sharing this activity. Lots of opportunities to use what you’ve learnt to experiment and potentially create other creatures and objects too. Can imagine these would also make very festive decorations for this time of the year too.
